Message To Everyday Leaders

1 min read

Whether you are leading an organization, supervising a team, supporting individuals in the community, raising a family, or simply navigating everyday relationships, remember that your actions have an impact.

Before responding to someone out of frustration, consider what they may be experiencing.

Before making assumptions, ask questions.

Before dismissing someone’s perspective, take time to listen.

And before allowing someone’s behavior to make you question your worth, remember the qualities, experiences, and values that make you who you are.

We all have opportunities to improve how we communicate, respond, and treat one another.

We will not always get it right.

But we can choose to be intentional.

We can choose accountability over blame.

We can choose understanding over unnecessary judgment.

And we can choose respect even when we disagree.
