LES TALK ABOUT IT: Growth Will Show You Who’s Really With You

Growth can be exciting but it can also be revealing.

As you change, advocate for yourself, set boundaries, pursue new opportunities, or simply decide you want more for your life, people may respond differently. Some will celebrate you. Some may become distant. Others may be more comfortable with the version of you that required less from them.

That doesn’t necessarily make every person who struggles with your growth a bad person. Sometimes relationships simply have to adjust when you adjust.

The bigger question is whether you will shrink yourself to keep other people comfortable—or continue becoming the person you know you’re capable of being.

Let’s talk about it:

Have you ever noticed someone treating you differently once you started growing, setting boundaries, or doing better for yourself?

And an even harder question:

Have you ever had to accept that someone you expected to grow with you may not be able to go where you’re going?

Share your thoughts. Someone else may need to hear your perspective today.
